Parent Guidelines for CedarRoot from the Folks at Natembea

We are delighted to welcome you to Natembea! Because Natembea is a working farm, we have guidelines that include important protections for the farm and for parents and children. We love having the children at the farm, and it is important to follow these guidelines in order to protect this valued relationship:

  • The road to Natembea is residential, and good relations with neighbors are essential to keeping this program going. Please drive slowly and respectfully.

  • CedarRoot parents MUST use the 7th St to Spring St corner route when dropping off or picking up children. Use of the diagonal cutoff will endanger the ability of Natembea to continue hosting CedarRoot.

  • Please do not park outside of the designated CedarRoot parking area. If necessary, wait for space to open up.

  • Pets present a safety and biohazard risk, and are not allowed out of vehicles when at Natembea.

  • Parents are limited to the parking lot and base camp during drop-off and pickup. All families must vacate the premises when the instructors do.

  • For safety, and out of respect to the residents and farmers at Natembea, families cannot visit the farm unless it is part of a CedarRoot sponsored activity.

Please refer to the map below for visual guidance, and feel free to contact CedarRoot, or Natembea farm manager David Pablo Cohn (david.cohn@natembea.com) with any questions.

Thank you so much!
