Budding naturalists will explore the great outdoors through art, nature observation, journaling, ethnobotany exploration, games, and movement. We will spend our days in the forest or at the beach creating art inspired by nature through a variety of mediums: book making, sand sculpture, eco-ephemeral art, nature mandalas, drawing, painting with watercolors and more. Paint a landscape with your very own handmade egg tempura paint! It is easy to combine some science with art while we are outside. Find out which native, edible plants are in the forest as well as what it's like to "paint" with them. We will play with color theory, explore the main elements and principles of art - all outside!
