Could you last 72 hours if you were forced into a survival situation? Embark on a transformative journey into the heart of wilderness survival with our weekend workshop!

Over the course of two days, you'll dive deep into the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the great outdoors. Led by seasoned wilderness experts, this hands-on experience will equip you with the skills associated with fundamental aspects of outdoor survival: Food, Fire, Water and Shelter.

Day 1: Foundations of Survival

• Fire Starting: Master the art of making fire using primitive methods such as friction fire and fire by flint.

• Water Sourcing and Purification: Discover techniques for finding and purifying water in the wild, ensuring hydration and safety.

Day 2: Wilderness Shelter building and Foraging

• Shelter Building: Learn how to construct various shelters using natural materials to protect yourself from the elements.

• Foraging for Food: Identify edible plants and learn ethical foraging practices to supplement your survival diet.

Throughout the weekend, participants will engage in hands-on activities, group discussions, and scenario-based exercises designed to reinforce learning and promote competency.

Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, aspiring adventurer, or seasoned explorer, our Wilderness Skills Weekend offers valuable insights and practical knowledge to enhance your wilderness experience and foster a deeper connection with the natural world.

What to Bring:

• your favorite carving knife, if you have one.

• a sack lunch and/or snacks, water

$245 + $30 material fee

Ages 12 + ( a great family weekend, minors must be accompanied by a registered adult)
