NOTE: This summer’s Leather Shoes & Boots will be part of the Village Family Camp. To read more & register for that, click here. If you can’t attend the Family Camp but are interested in taking this class in the future, please email us: info@cedarrootschool.org.

Sew your own custom leather shoes in a low moccasin-style or taller boot. Course includes design elements, use of awls and punches, sewing and "weatherproofing" your shoes. These shoes and boots are comfortable, ergonomic, durable, and attractive. As an added bonus, this class is taught in a Village style, meaning that Leatherworking, Bowmaking, Arrowmaking, Knife Handle Carving, and Felted Boots are being taught simultaneously in the same space. This allows participants to be exposed to several arts while focusing on one specific skill.

August 31st & Sept 1st (plus a pattern making session 6pm Friday Aug 30th) :: Marrowstone Island, Wa. :: 9 am- 4 pm :: Ages-Adult/Children over 6 years old (children under 10 must be accompanied by a participating adult) :: Instructors Peter Yencken and Maude Richards
